SHORT-TERM RENTAL AGREEMENT

Doing Business As (DBA) Nine02 Travel Hub
This Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between the individual booking the property (“Guest”) and Nautical Shores Property Management Limited, DBA Nine02 Travel Hub (“Host”). This Agreement governs the short-term rental of the following property:

WHEREAS, Host agrees to rent to Guest, and Guest agrees to rent from Host, the above-referenced property, subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein.
1. OCCUPANCY & REGISTRATION
Guest agrees that occupancy shall not exceed the number of individuals specified in the booking confirmation. Guest shall not permit unregistered guests or overnight visitors without prior written approval from Host. Guest assumes full responsibility for the conduct of all occupants and visitors.
2. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Check-in is available after 4:00 PM AST on the check-in date. Check-out must occur by 10:00 AM AST on the departure date. A door access code will be provided on the day of arrival and will be active for the duration of the stay.
3. WATER SAFETY DISCLAIMER
The premises may include access to water features (e.g., ocean, river, pond, hot tub). Guest acknowledges that no lifeguards are on duty and assumes all responsibility for water safety. Host bears no liability for any accident, injury, or death resulting from water-related activities.
4. HOT TUB & SAUNA USE
If applicable, hot tubs, saunas, and cold plunges are to be used at the Guest’s own risk. Guests must shower prior to use, avoid bringing glassware, and supervise children at all times. Guest is liable for damages caused by improper use.
5. SMOKING POLICY
Smoking, vaping, and cannabis use are strictly prohibited inside the property, on decks, or within 15 feet of doors and windows. Smoking is permitted on grassy areas only and waste must be cleaned up. Violation of this policy will result in a minimum $1,500 professional cleaning fee.
6. HOUSE RULES

No food or drink in bedrooms.

No rearranging of furniture.

Remove shoes upon entry.

Fireworks and sparklers are strictly prohibited.

Do not tamper with security cameras. A $500 fee applies for interference.

Any damage must be reported to Host immediately.
7. SECURITY CAMERAS
Exterior surveillance is in use for safety. Tampering with, disabling, or obstructing security cameras is grounds for immediate removal and a $500 fee.
8. PADDLE BOARDS, KAYAKS, & WATERCRAFT
Where provided, use of paddle boards, kayaks, or other equipment is at Guest’s own risk. Host assumes no liability for any injuries or accidents resulting from use.
9. ANIMALS, INSECTS, & NATURAL CONDITIONS
Properties are located in rural, coastal areas. Guests may encounter insects, wildlife, and farm-related sounds or smells. This is a natural part of island life and no refunds will be issued as a result of these conditions.
10. WAIVER OF LIABILITY
Guest agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Host, its affiliates, and agents from any claims or damages arising from their stay, including incidents involving water, hot tubs, paddle boards, wildlife, or other inherent risks.
11. REFUND POLICY
All bookings are final and non-refundable. No refunds will be given due to weather, insects, natural conditions, wildlife, or personal discomfort associated with rural or island life.
12. ENFORCEMENT
Violation of any clause herein is grounds for immediate termination of stay without refund. Host reserves the right to charge Guest for any damage, rule violations, or extra cleaning required.

14. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Prince Edward Island, Canada. In the event of a legal dispute, the parties agree to resolve the matter exclusively in the courts of Prince Edward Island.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Guest affirms they have read and agreed to this Rental Agreement by completing the booking.
